October and now the first week of November have been tough with weather windows. Often only 1 day a week to get out. The Bass are marking there way south and there are large schools of 30-40lbs off central NJ as I write this. The are picky and keyed in on very small bait. sand eels or some kind of bay anchovies. We have experienced this before. The bass are sipping bait off the surface after they get pushed to the surface.  Small sparse deceivers and clousers are working.
